We of OUR SAVIOUR LUTHERAN are always delighted to have guests with us in worship. You’ll find that we are a friendly bunch of people who love the Lord. We enjoy our worship, our music, and our fellowship. We value and appreciate God’s Presence, God’s Word, and God’s sacraments among us.
We worship at OUR SAVIOUR at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday and 4 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion (Eucharist) twice every Sunday.
We have five choirs at OUR SAVIOUR. We have four vocal choirs: a Senior choir (adults over the age of 20.); a Teen choir (grade 8th grade through 12th grade); a Youth Choir, (1st grade through 7th grade); and a Men’s Ensemble (men of all ages), and Circle of Friends (special ensemble). We have a Handbell Choir and director, Jennifer Hudson, meets with them on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
We have broadcast our 11:00 a.m. worship service for over 68 years. Our broadcasts began before the ‘fad’ of using media for Christian ministry. It is a LIVE Broadcast on WHLS radio, Radio First, 1450 AM radio, Port Huron.
OUR SAVIOUR LUTHERAN CHURCH (www.oursaviourlutheran.com) serves under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and has fellowship with other Lutherans in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org) We are part of the South East Michigan Synod, one of 64 synods of the ELCA.(www.semisynod.org) While we are servants of Jesus Christ, we also appreciate our rich Lutheran heritage. Our heritage does not prevent us though from fellowship and mutual service with all Christian peoples.

We provide church child care services for children age 5 and under in the Nursery Room outside our sanctuary door. There, parents can leave their child and meet the volunteer staff person who will care for their child with great TLC. Simply ask a deacon for assistance if you are uncertain of the location.
To make your child a valuable part of our worship, which they are, we provide a children’s message or sermon during the regular school year. Parents are welcome to come forward with the youngest children. A child’s bulletin will be provided to our youth related to the Scripture readings of the day. We also provide a soft children’s bag on the table in our narthex, under the largest stain glass window. In these bags materials are provided to make the presence of younger children more user friendly.
After our 11:00 a.m. worship hour, weekly, we have coffee and fellowship time downstairs in our fellowship hall. Here members prepare tasty treats, coffee and cold beverages, so as to provide a meeting time in a social way, for our worshippers. We hope you will participate with us as frequently as you can.
Please know you need not be a member to participate in worship, the sacraments, or the events of OUR SAVIOUR. Our weekly bulletin provides information about the next week. Our monthly newsletter (provided on table in narthex and entrance door). Our website contains both bulletin and newsletter and much, much more. Once online you can email us, register for events, trips, etc, and refer your family and friends to the life of our congregation through our website.
