Celebrate Your Wedding At Our Church

At Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Port Huron, Michigan, we welcome you to celebrate one of the most important days of your life—your wedding. A schedule of wedding options and corresponding fees are available from our Church Secretary, 810-982-1240.

BAPTISMS:

The Pastor meets with the individual or family before Sacrament to answer and describe the Biblical understanding of this great gift for starting our life in Christ

MARRIAGE RENEWALS ALSO OCCUR THROUGH THE YEAR FOR COUPLES DESIRING TO PUBLICLY AFFIRM THEIR LOVE AFTER YEARS OR SIGNIFICANT HEALTH/LIFE ISSUES

WEDDINGS

We welcome anyone from our community to get married at our church. Neither Pastor Charlie nor our congregation requires your membership in our church, we seek to serve all in Christ's Name. But please request information or schedule a date, at least 3 months before your desired day. This time is needed for our staff and pre-marital sessions (3) with Pastor Charlie.

BAPTISMS

The Kingdom gates are open, and God welcomes adults and children into covenant. If you or someone in your family desires to be baptized, get in touch with Pastor Charlie. Bring any questions you may have to expand your understanding.

Romans 15:7

Funerals

Members and non-members alike may hold a funeral service at our church, at the graveside, or local funeral home. For members, we have a burial spot on the side of the church for those who have been cremated. There is a small charge for opening the site and purchasing an engraved nameplate, inside the sanctuary.

Romans 8:11

ACTING UNDER GOD'S COMMAND TO BAPTIZE AND DESIRING THE BLESSINGS THROUGH THIS SACRAMENT,
WE ARE ALL TRULY BLESSED WITHIN GOD'S FAMILY.

THE STUDY OF GOD'S WORD HAS ALWAYS BEEN CENTRAL FOR OUR PEOPLE:
Dorothy Schess has been baptized, instructed as child in the 20's (1920's, that is), and was a teacher to our youth for 60+ years, and is still a living saint of Christ at her now current age of 96 years.
